A fantastic practice thanks to the result of the mojito applied by Jurgen Appello of the feedback Wall and Happiness Index.
What is Happiness Door?
The Happiness Door really is often just Post-Its with feedback written on them, and, like the Happiness Index, it assumes that people can act as the best gauge of their own happiness level the Happiness Door really is often just Post-Its with feedback written on them, and, like the Happiness Index, it assumes that people can act as the best gauge of their own happiness level.

As all M3.0 practice is low cost and sustainable over time. What do you need?
- Simply a Post-it, pen, markers, stickers, among other materials.
Feel free to use it if you need constant feedback on how the emotions go during the activity you are developing.
Examples
• To give a training
• At the end of a team coaching session
• At the end of the retrospective to give feedback to the Scrum Master for its facilitation, especially when it is starting in this role.
• During or at the end of a work meeting• To measure the emotion of the team prior to the retrospective (Check - In) or to check out the retrospective.
How to use it?
- Prepare the scenario in terms of the way you will use the technique, this is the key, it can be meaningless if the orientation and the dynamics are not well explained.
- Ask people to write an anonymous comment or draw the emotion with which they feel identified with at that moment.
- Read it momentarily in public to demonstrate transparency to all those involved. So if there is something negative a discussion period can be opened.

How did I experiment?
You can choose the door where the activity is running, the one in the bathroom, etc., it has to be a visible space for all and intimate, so it provides comfort to the person who gives the feedback, we all need to go to the bathroom, attend an unexpected call, look for something, or take a break, that’s the reason for using the door as it is something very easy to see.

There are other approaches such as measuring people’s happiness. Here is another experiment which was done with friends who are professors of a prestigious Venezuelan university (Universidad Católica Andrés Bello). As they were close to completing the academic period, the Coach used the dynamics to measure how they felt and how their emotional state was that day and this was what resulted.
They all decided that the best they could do and what was within their reach that day was to watch the soccer game between Brazil and Serbia and if they could have bought refreshments were even better. This is a way that teams can make decisions and take charge of improving their relationships and emotions, of course; always with the proper support of their manager.
Obviously something must be done to raise the energy and reform the emotional the team state, this is the result of the dynamics and the manager should do something for it.
